Loup Loup 2022 GIVE METHOW Drive!

The time for Give Methow! is again upon us, and we are thankful for the Methow Fund’s annual program that supports so many of our important community programs and non-profits. Loup Loup Ski Education Foundation is grateful to be among the many community organizations participating in the Give Methow campaign; and this year, we need your help to ensure this community asset (the Loup Loup Ski Bowl) along with all our outreach and educational programs, remain available for the Methow Valley and beyond.

As many of you already know, LLSEF exists to promote appreciation and connection with our community and environment through accessible, affordable, family-friendly alpine recreation and education. To meet our mission we offer free and substantially subsidized alpine experiences for many of our youth and underserved community members throughout North Central Washington, including Okanogan County, Colville Reservation, and nearby regions. And we have been serving these communities for decades. Unfortunately, time takes a toll on aging equipment and buildings, operating costs continue to increase, and income is weather dependent.

Moreover, as the effects of climate change become more real, our need for community support grows. In response, we launched our first ever Summer Operations this past summer 2022. At the same time, we are in the beginning stages of developing new strategies to maintain Winter Alpine operations for future generations. Not only do our new Summer Operations provide new education and outreach opportunities for our community, but reinvesting in our Winter operations will ensure we are able to continue offering our current programs to our community.

This year, please consider giving to the Loup Loup Ski Education Foundation this year and help us continue serving our community, and as we begin a new chapter in the 50+ year history of this hidden gem.
