Loup Loup Ski Clubs

Alpine Ski Team

The Loup Loup Alpine Ski Team’s primary objective is to provide an opportunity for youth, ages 7 and up, in Okanogan County to participate in alpine ski racing and experience educational life skills through competitive skiing.

The program runs from the first weekend in January through the end of March. Our coaching staff consists of trained volunteers who supervise, organize and prepare athletes for ski races throughout the Northwest. We travel to local ski areas and as far as Oregon and Idaho to compete.

Boomers Ski Club

All skiers, retired skiers and learn-to-skiers who are 55+ are invited to join this fun loving group that formed to encourage camaraderie and a fun skiing experience at the Loup.

Boomers meet each Wednesday, often arriving alone or in car pools, they can come from the Methow Valley, Okanogan Valley, Lake Chelan, or anywhere. All are welcome. On Wednesdays, the group can often have the hill nearly to themselves and having friendly club members to ride the chair with makes the 12-minute ride go pretty fast. You can even finish a story!
