Loup Loup Boomers Ski Club

Join us for the 2023 Season!  (December 1, 2022 – April 1, 2023)

All skiers, retired skiers and learn-to-skiers who are 55+ are invited to join the Loup Loup Boomers ski club, a fun-loving group that formed to encourage camaraderie and a fun skiing experience at the Loup.

Boomers meet each Wednesday and Friday, often arriving alone or in carpools, they come from the Methow Valley, Okanogan Valley, Lake Chelan, or anywhere. All are welcome. On Boomer days, the group can often have the hill nearly to themselves and having friendly club members to ride the chair with makes the 12-minute ride go pretty fast. You can even finish a story!

The Boomers roster now exceeds 60 members, which means you don’t need to ski alone, unless you want to. Each year the Boomers uses unneeded funds to support Loup youth programs and other Loup needs. We love the Loup!

Become a Boomer: Print and mail our Membership Form. Dues are $20 per year.
(Due to the short 2022 season, membership and cards for 2022 will be extended to 2023.)

Member ID Card: To make finding each other on the hill, the chair or in the lodge very easy, the club provides a Boomer Member ID that is displayed within a comfortable armband. The ID, which is required to take advantage of member benefits and perks at the Loup, is renewed each year and is non-transferable.

Boomer Benefits: Member benefits include a group of fun friends to ski and ride the chair with, $35 day passes on Boomer Wednesday and Friday and car-pooling.

Additional Boomer Activities: The Boomers provide opportunities to socialize as group, both at the area and other locations. Each year they take an early December club trip into Canada to ski for two days and may plan additional trips and parties throughout the season.
